ABOUT LAIKA:

In the early 1950s, the space race was heating up between the Soviet Union and the USA. The Soviet Union wanted to be the first country to launch a human into earth’s orbit. To prove humans can survive in spaceflight, they captured a stray dog named “Laika” and trained the god under extreme conditions.

On Nov 3, 1957, Sputnik 2 carried Laika into earth’s orbit. Laika became the first animal to orbit Earth. Laika proved that a living passenger could survive being launched into orbit and endure a spaceflight environment paving the way for human spaceflight.

Altvurs Studio dedicates this game 'Laika’s Adventure: Tap & Blast' in memory of Laika. She was smarter and braver than all of us. She managed to reach space and even beyond.
